Here is a showcase of my garden suites and tiny home projects. My suites are all furnished so often rented through Airbnb and VRBO but I also get many medium term bookings directly through my website at www.westedmontonrentals.com and here you can find many more pictures and details.
Paradise in Belize
This project is in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, the island near the largest Barrier Reef in the Western Hemisphere. The land in Mahogany Bay Village (MBV) had vendor financing available which is common in Belize for land. Since my property is not part of the Hilton Resort, I added a pool for my guests to enjoy. MBV is one of only 2 gated communities in San Pedro and has several restaurants and retail shops available on site. For more information about MBV, watch my video here on my YouTube channel
Ladybug Lane Tiny Home
This tiny home garden suite includes a main floor bedroom along with a loft and has beautiful vaulted ceilings. There is a crawl space basement that houses the utilites. The measurements are 32 * 10 so quite large for a tiny home. The home was designed by Coventry homes based on examples I gave them from looking at Tiny Home plans in the US.
Grey Havens Laneway Home
This plan is fantastic as it includes a double garage for the house tenants and a single for the garage suite tenants. Rent has typically been $1,800/month or is rented on Airbnb. Blue Bayou Laneway Home
This plan has a seperate single bay garage for the house and one for the garage suite. It is 645 square feet and is rented between $1,700 and $1,800/month or on Airbnb. SImilar unfurnished suites often rent for $1,400 to $1,450 including utilities. This property is the West End of Edmonton. Click on the title to see the floor plans.
One bedroom suite with patio (3073)
This suite is unique in that the house has a breezeway that goes to the back garage and the patio for the suite is above the breezeway. The plan is approximately 500 square feet. It has been rented on Airbnb and also to monthly tenants for $1,600 - $1,700/month including all utilities. Since only 20 feet wide, the garage is used only by the house tenants. Two bedroom suite over double garage (8639)
This plan is over a 20 wide garage so the garage is used by the house only. I recently sold this property and rent I received on the suite was $1,700 - $1,750/month. The garage suite is 640 square feet. This property is in the West End of Edmonton. Click the title to see the floor plans.
